Information For Authors

The Journal of Recent Innovations in Computer Science and Technology (JRICST) welcomes original, unpublished research articles, review papers, and case studies in all areas of Computer Science and Technology. To ensure smooth processing and compliance with our double-blind peer review policy, authors are requested to carefully follow these guidelines.

1. Manuscript Preparation

Structure

  • Title Page (separate file): Must include

    • Article title

    • Full names of all authors

    • Affiliations and ORCID IDs

    • Corresponding author’s email address

  • Main Manuscript (anonymized): Should not contain author names, affiliations, or acknowledgments. Use neutral terms (e.g., “the author” instead of “we”).

Sections (for Research Articles)

  1. Title

  2. Abstract (150–250 words)

  3. Keywords (4–6 terms)

  4. Introduction

  5. Literature Review (if applicable)

  6. Methodology

  7. Results and Discussion

  8. Conclusion

  9. References (APA or IEEE style preferred)

Formatting

  • File type: MS Word (.docx)

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing

  • Page setup: A4, margins 1 inch on all sides

  • Figures and tables: Numbered consecutively with captions; insert in-text near first citation

2. Double-Blind Peer Review Requirements

To maintain anonymity:

  • Do not include author names/affiliations in the main document.

  • Remove personal identifiers from file metadata (use “Remove Properties and Personal Information” in Word).

  • Avoid self-identifying phrases (e.g., “our previous study” → “previous studies”).

  • Acknowledgments and funding details should be placed in the Title Page file only.

3. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system.

  • Each submission will undergo:

    • Editorial screening (scope, plagiarism check, formatting)

    • Double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers

  • Authors will be notified of the decision (Accept, Minor/Major Revisions, Reject) via email.

4. Ethical Policies

  • Authors must confirm that the manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • All detected plagiarism will result in rejection.

  • Research involving human/animal subjects must include an ethical compliance statement.

  • Authors are required to disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources on the Title Page.

5. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • USD 200 

  • No submission fees.

  • Waivers may be granted for high-quality papers or authors with financial limitations (see Publication Charges).

6. Copyright & Licensing

  • Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License (CC BY 4.0).

  • Authors retain copyright, granting JRICST the right of first publication.

7. Archiving & Accessibility

  • All published articles are preserved via the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) using LOCKSS technology.

  • Authors are encouraged to self-archive preprints and postprints in institutional repositories.

✅ Checklist Before Submission

  • Manuscript anonymized (no author names/affiliations in the main file).

  • Title Page prepared separately with full author details.

  • Figures and tables properly labeled and cited.

  • References formatted in the correct style.

  • Ethical statement, conflicts of interest, and funding disclosure (on Title Page).

  • APC policy reviewed.
