The Journal of Recent Innovations in Computer Science and Technology (JRICST) is an open-access journal managed and published by Academics Achievers Education And Research Foundation. The journal does not receive funding from any university or government grants.

To cover the costs of peer review, online hosting, archiving, and open-access publication, JRICST charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 375 for accepted manuscripts.

Waiver Policy

The Journal of Recent Innovations in Computer Science and Technology (JRICST) is dedicated to promoting open access publication and ensuring that the Article Processing Charge (APC) does not hinder the dissemination of quality research.

To support authors from academic and research communities, JRICST offers the following waiver categories:

1. Student / Research Scholar Author Waiver

   • Students and research scholars enrolled in recognized academic institutions are eligible for a waiver of $25, reducing the APC to $350 USD.
     This waiver is automatically applicable upon verification of student or scholar status at the time of submission.

2. JRICST Reviewer Waiver

   • Active reviewers and editorial board members of JRICST who contribute to the journal’s peer-review process are eligible for a waiver of $50, reducing the APC to $325 USD.
     This waiver serves as recognition of their valuable service to maintaining the journal’s publication quality.

Waiver Application Process

Authors requesting a waiver must submit a formal waiver request at the time of manuscript submission by emailing the editorial office at editor@jricst.com with the subject line:

“APC Waiver Request – [Manuscript Title]”

The request should include:

• Author’s full name and manuscript title,

• Category of waiver requested (Student / Research Scholar or JRICST Reviewer), and

• Supporting documentation (e.g., student ID or reviewer confirmation).

Requesting a waiver has no influence on the peer-review process or editorial decision. All waiver requests are evaluated independently and must be approved before the final acceptance of the manuscript.
