AI Policy For Authors
The full, exclusive, and non-transferable responsibility for the content of the manuscript rests entirely with the Authors.
This responsibility includes, but is not limited to:
- Any AI-generated or AI-assisted content included in the manuscript
- Undisclosed use of AI tools or generative technologies
- Plagiarism, fabricated, falsified, or manipulated data
- Inaccurate, misleading, or unverified information
- Copyright infringement or improper use of third-party material
- Violations of ethical standards, research integrity, or legal regulations
By submitting a manuscript, the Authors expressly confirm that they have thoroughly reviewed and verified all content prior to submission and that the work complies with all applicable ethical, legal, and publication standards.
The Journal, Editors, Reviewers, and Publisher bear no responsibility or liability for any misconduct, errors, omissions, or violations arising from the manuscript content.
Any issue identified before or after publication shall remain solely the responsibility of the Authors, and the Journal reserves the right to reject, withdraw, or retract the manuscript where necessary.
Mandatory AI Disclosure
Authors who use generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools or AI-assisted technologies during manuscript preparation must clearly disclose this at the time of submission.
The disclosure must include:
- Name of the AI tool (including model/version)
- Software version and date of use
- A brief description of the prompt/query used
- Specific sections where AI assistance was applied
The disclosure must appear in the Materials & Methods section or Acknowledgment/Supplementary section.
Acceptable Use of AI
AI tools may be used only for:
- Improving grammar
- Language editing
- Translation
- Enhancing readability
AI tools must NOT be used for:
- Generating scientific ideas
- Producing research data
- Creating experimental results
- Performing analysis
- Writing scientific conclusions
- Fabricating references
Use of AI in Figures and Images
- AI-generated or AI-modified images are strictly prohibited, unless AI use is an essential part of the research methodology.
- If AI is part of the methodology, full technical details (tool name, version, purpose) must be disclosed in the Methods section.
- AI-based tools used only for graph design or visualization of original author-generated data are permitted, provided the data is accurate and transparent.
Complete Author Responsibility
By submitting a manuscript, the Authors confirm that:
- The manuscript has been fully reviewed and verified before submission.
- All AI-assisted content has been carefully checked for accuracy, originality, and ethical compliance.
- No plagiarism, fabricated data, manipulated images, false citations, copyright violation, or undisclosed AI use exists.
- All confidential, proprietary, or third-party data have been used legally and with proper authorization.
The entire responsibility for:
- Content accuracy
- Scientific validity
- Ethical compliance
- Legal compliance
- Copyright and data privacy
- AI misuse
rests solely with the Authors.
JRICST, its Editors, Reviewers, and Publisher bear no responsibility or liability for any misconduct, error, or violation arising from AI use by the Authors.
Strict Pre-Submission Verification Requirement
Authors must thoroughly check and verify the manuscript before submission.
No claim of oversight, AI error, misunderstanding, or technical mistake will be accepted after submission.
Consequences of Non-Disclosure or Violation
If any issue arises at any stage (before review, during review, after acceptance, or after publication), including:
- Undisclosed AI use
- Plagiarism
- Fabricated or manipulated data
- AI-generated scientific content
- Ethical violations
- Copyright infringement
The Journal reserves the full right to:
- Reject the manuscript immediately
- Withdraw acceptance
- Retract the published paper without notice
All consequences, damages, reputational impact, and legal liability shall remain entirely with the Authors.
